Fred is a co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at VieCure. He is responsible for developing and maintaining VieCure’s oncology clinical content, genomic-science knowledge identification and codification, and the design and implementation of the diagnostic, treatment, supportive care, survivorship and end-of-life care strategy rules that underpin our platform. He was the co-founder for Intelligent Improvement Consultants, a healthcare management consulting firm. He is a former senior executive with the National Cancer Institute of Canada, Cancer Care Ontario, and the Alberta Cancer Board, OpTx Corporation, and BridgeSite Clinical Research.

With over 20 years of experience in operations management, health information software, and strategic planning across global markets, Carlos is committed to driving innovation and excellence. He has spearheaded transformative initiatives to enhance service delivery, elevate customer satisfaction, and foster a positive employee experience. His leadership has consistently resulted in industry recognition for outstanding delivery and service.

Rob is the Chief Technology Officer at VieCure. He leads technology strategy, transformation, and delivery excellence. Rob has over 27 years of IT accomplishments with 18 years in healthcare. Previously, Rob served as the CTO for Dr.Evidence which delivers an AI-powered label and regulatory intelligence platform. He also led clinical decision support engineering at Elsevier including the Indian government’s DIISHA project which is the largest healthcare pilot in the world targeting 250,000,000 patients and 500,000 providers.
Additionally, Rob has held EHR and population health leadership positions at Allscripts and McKesson. He began his career at Lockheed Martin then moved to Sun Microsystems as a lead engineer working on the Solaris Operating System.
Rob received a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA from Colorado State University.
