Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Project Manager to join our dynamic team at VieCure.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end management of projects to produce defined deliverables on time to agreed project specifications. The role holder will have ownership for all project management functions from detailed planning through execution. The Project Manager has delegated responsibility, accountability and authority for project resources, deliverables and financials associated with VieCure projects (client-facing and internal).
The Project Manager will drive project results / deliverables by actively managing all project components using a disciplined and organized project management methodology under the authority of executive leadership. This includes management, mentorship and direction of all project resources (internal and possible external including client staff), control of scope, timelines, resource allocations etc.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
Drives the completion of technical projects in coordination with software development and QA engineers and leadership
Creator and owner of all critical project documentation and artifacts
Efficient management of resource time against project budget; owns the delivery of budgeted project margin or project cost
Assist in the build out and operationalize methodology, content, tool sets, policies, and processes
Program / project charter creation, detailed planning, resource and management of all project tasks, deliverables, milestones, scope, resources and costs
Continuous improvement of project management processes and techniques that produce incremental and/or step changes in project performance
Mobilization of multidisciplinary teams (resources) to delivery projects on time and on or ahead of schedule within agreed cost / revenue parameters
Resource and capacity management including resource allocations and explanation of responsibilities and project performance expectations
Keen awareness of project budgets and resource time/capacity as it relates to projects
Communication and negotiation with all project stakeholders, obtain approvals as defined by project charter
Empowered to lead (decision making responsibility specific to projects and risk mitigation, with escalation only when warranted or when a decision has enterprise-wide implications
Provide regular communication and reporting transparency into project progress to various stakeholders and the wider organization in relation to: costs, issues, quality, and financials
Ensure all perceived project risks are communicated to senior leaders and stakeholders in a timely manner

Education / Qualification
Bachelor’s degrees or equivalent experience in Healthcare IT Project Management required
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices preferred
Experience
4+ years of related healthcare experience
4+ years in a Software as a service (SaaS) environment, including managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and multidisciplinary teams supporting software development
4+ years of Information Technology (IT) solution design in healthcare or related field
4+ years of experience in EMR implementations is a plus, but not required
Technical Competencies
Familiarity and appropriate competent use of project management applications/platforms (MS Project, SmartSheet, etc.)
A balanced technical skill set with required soft skills to translate complex scenarios in simplistic terms when needed, depending on the audience
Tech savvy and innovative solution design
An understanding of Product Management and Development
An understanding of Data Conversion and Interface Building
Proficiency in MS Office 365
Experience with the following EMR platforms preferred: MOSAIQ, Aria, OncoEMR Centricity/ULS, LabCorp, Nucleus, etc.
