We are now seeking a skilled and dynamic Interoperability and Integrations Lead to spearhead the deployment of our interoperability and integrations strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of integration projects, from deployment and support to ongoing maintenance of the final product. You will play a crucial role in supporting the company during presales activities, implementation phases, and post-go-live operations, ensuring seamless integration of our solutions into healthcare systems.
Remote Salary: $90-140K
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of Viecure's interoperability and integrations strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market needs.
Oversee the deployment of integration solutions, ensuring they meet technical requirements and performance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and clinical stakeholders, to gather requirements and facilitate smooth integration processes.
Provide technical support and guidance during presales activities, helping to articulate the value and functionality of interoperability solutions to prospective clients.
Manage the implementation of interoperability projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
Offer post-go-live support to clients, addressing any issues related to integration and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Monitor and maintain the performance of integration solutions, implementing necessary updates and optimizations.
Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulations related to interoperability and healthcare integration.
Lead Tier 2 support efforts for complex integration issues, including advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process improvements.
Establish monitoring workflows post-launch to ensure integration performance and proactively address potential issues.
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to confirm readiness for new customer launch, including completing data mapping and integration testing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing interoperability and integration projects, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and integration technologies.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage timelines effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Track record of managing vendor certifications and ensuring compliance with integration standards.
Experience in creating and maintaining monitoring dashboards, setting up alerts, and analyzing integration performance metrics.
A background in identifying inefficiencies in integration workflows and implementing solutions to enhance reliability and performance.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the development of training materials.
Experience
6+ years of related healthcare experience
6+ years of leading software integration activities
6+ years in a Software as a service (SaaS) environment,
6+ years of Information Technology (IT) solution design in healthcare or related field
6+ years of experience in EMR implementations is preferred
Technical Competencies
Familiarity and appropriate competent use of project management applications/platforms (MS Project, SmartSheet, etc.)
A balanced technical skill set with required soft skills to translate complex scenarios in simplistic terms when needed, depending on the audience
Tech savvy and innovative solution design
An understanding of Product interfaces as they relate to healthcare systems
Proficiency in MS Office 365
Experience with the following EMR platforms preferred: MOSAIQ, Aria, OncoEMR Centricity/ULS, LabCorp, Nucleus, etc.
