Job Description

We are seeking an experienced full time, highly motivated Interface/Integration Quality Assurance. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, the QA, Interface/ Integration QA role is responsible for testing the integration of external modules and components for a comprehensive AI knowledge base, interface engine and clinical decision support system.

Location: Denver, CO or Columbus, OH


  • Testing Interfaces/Integrations pre and post release. Validating the quality of data (inbound and outbound) flows from external sources and the application

  • Develop and maintain mock interfaces for use in testing.

  • Performance testing on external interfaces/Integrations

  • Monitor production interfaces post release to identify external and internal changes

  • Develop automated tools for monitoring and verification

  • Integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline

  • Identify, design and document test cases

  • Perform and document risk analysis

  • Record test progress and results

  • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness

  • Discover, document and track resolution of bugs within software

  • Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes

  • Review and provide recommendations to improve application performance

  • Continually develop in-depth product knowledge to resolve user questions and issues

Skills, Competencies & Experience

  • BS in computer science

  • 4+ years Integration testing

  • Extensive experience of a software development project lifecycle

  • Advanced experience and an understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies

  • In depth API testing experience with test tools such as ReadyApi, Postman or other Api tools, with emphasis on building mock interfaces.

  • Exceptional knowledge of database management tools and architecture models

  • Strong SQL skills

  • Experience in an Agile environment with an understanding of the Agile process and ceremonies

  • Experience using JIRA and familiarity with test case management tools (Zephyr, Test Rail, or similar)

  • A solid understanding of Agile Software Development

  • Advanced understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies

  • Solid knowledge of ReadyAPI, Postman, Rest Assured, SOAP or other tools.

  • Advanced understanding of SQL

  • Competent with Jenkins, or Azure CI/CD

  • A critical thinker with skill in analyzing underlying issues through probing, questioning, and listening to drive and realize continuous process improvements

  • Strong attention to detail and a quality mindset.

  • A collaborative team player who can understand and appreciate the goals of others, working together to build success.

  • Patient, resilient, able to work in a pressurized environment and manage time effectively.

  • Good interpersonal skills – tactfully and confidently liaising with, and presenting to, colleagues at all levels of the business on findings

We are headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado, and have a complement of remote staff who live in proximity to client sites. For this role, we require a candidate based in, or willing to relocate to Denver, CO or Columbus, OH. We support hybrid working (2 days at home / 3 days on site). There may be some occasional travel involved in this role.

The salary range for this role is $90,000-$135,000 per annum. The exact salary offered will be based on the candidate’s location, knowledge, skills and experience.
