Job Description
We are seeking an experienced full time, highly motivated Data Quality Analyst. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, the QA, Interface/ Integration QA role is responsible to analyzing the quality of data both in and out of a comprehensive AI knowledge base, interface engine and clinical decision support system.

Responsibilities
Validating the quality of data (inbound and outbound) from external sources and out from the application. Analyzing large data sets for consistency and conformity and regulatory standards.
Perform data modeling and create data formatting standards.
Design and manage data pipeline and ETL solutions.
Create processes for extracting data from structured and unstructured data.
Create business automation tools for data analysis.
Create business metrics and KPI dashboards.
Create data diagrams and process flow diagrams.
Design data cleansing processes to ensure a high level of data quality.
Manage data access and data privacy.
Activities include assessment, testing, monitoring, documenting, and communication with Business stakeholders, Development and Quality Assurance.
Monitor production data post release to identify external and internal changes.
Provide Data Quality advisory services participating in cross-functional teams and development or improvement task forces.
Identify and propose resolution of recurring Data Quality problems.
Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness around Data Quality.
Continuously improve the company’s data management solutions to better serve customers, partners, and operations teams.
Skills, Competencies & Experience
BS in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics
2+ Years data quality
Strong background in relational databases and SQL
Strong understanding of ETL concepts and tools
Strong SQL skills in analyzing, implementing/writing complex SQL scripts for designing critical data sets, trace data quality issues and should be proficient in data cleansing.
Experience working with a data visualization tool like Tableau, Looker, Power BI or equivalent
Healthcare data experience is a big plus (E.g. HL7, claims, benefits, diagnostics results, etc.)
Ability to perform complex data analysis, data visualization, and troubleshooting.
Experience developing computer programs utilizing various coding languages including SQL, C and more
Experience with SDLC, product development, and release process
Knowledge of ETL concepts, tools and data structures
Familiarity with healthcare application, product development and release process
Working knowledge of cloud services and modern IT / system architectures (Azure preferred)
Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, analyze and disseminate large volumes of data with attention to detail, accuracy, and data quality
Ability to produce high quality work deliverables with high attention to detail
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Data Quality concepts and practices for profiling, quantifying, and managing data quality
Strong organization skills with ability to understand and apply new technologies and concepts quickly
Ability to focus on high quality work and able to meet deadlines while working under pressure in a multi system environment
Ability to help create and acceptable data quality tolerance around data
Demonstrated attention to detail, with ability to “dive deep” into data issues to find root causes that lead to quality improvement
Self-motivated and proactive, ability to work independently with minimal direct guidance, delivering solid action-oriented results quickly implemented
Possess strong knowledge of business process, data or information management, and data quality standards and processes
Self-starter, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and deliver solid action-oriented results quickly
We are headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado, and have a complement of remote staff who live in proximity to client sites. We require a candidate based in, or willing to relocate to Denver. The salary range for this role is $75,000-$87,000 per annum. The exact salary offered will be based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills and experience.
